Ahimsa & Self-compassion



Kelly McGonigal is a great yogini with killer knowledge about psychology. She was the leader in the “Boost your willpower” program Yoga Journal launched in last january. I did it and it was great. If you want to do it, here is the link.

This quote is from her article about Self-compassion:

“If you are gentle with yourself and accept your setbacks with compassion, you can change your life for the better”.

I do believe that Ahimsa is the base of yoga practice, that’s how i’s such a loving practice, because it’s based in pure love.
