I’m so excited about it!
YdeYoga now has a logo, or a brand, I don’t know how to call it, but I think it’s necessary.
I wanted to hire a designer or even a branding agency to help me with my logo, but I have no time and no money available in months.
So, in a brave and bold moment, I decided to try it myself.
As you probably know, I’m a journalist and never did a design training before. However, there are some websites that help us to create our logo for free.
Thank you Google, again! I found www.logoease.com and created it using the options available.
Before, I was thinking about a logo with a lotus flower, or a silhouette in some asana, like padmasana, or tadasana, or vrksasana. But in this website, there was none.
I tought about choosing another flower, like a tropical one (because I’m brazilian), but somehow I was attracted by the animals drawings, and found a …. lizard!
It was love at the first sight. I always wanted a chameleon tatoo in my arm (never got it, tough) and the very first YdeYoga post, back in 15th november 2010 (in Tumblr), was a beautiful lizard in up dog. Chek it out here.
So, ladies and gentlemans, here is the new YdeYoga’s brand, or logo:
I LOVE it!
I hope you like lizards too!
And here is the picture of my first post, and that was my inspiration. It proves that “Yoga is everywhere”:

Looking closely, I think it is rather in bhujangasana, not in Up Dog. Look at those little arms! Perfect body lines. You can see the energy flowing.
Do you like it? I’d love to hear your opinion about it.
Much love and namaste.
